Anamnesis

Ní**, boy, age 8. Discharge summary from the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University (宁夏医科大学总医院) dated 2023-08-26: spinal cord injury, L1/L2 lumbar dislocation, paraplegia [bilateral lower limb paralysis]; L1-L2 lumbar vertebral fractures; T12 thoracic spinous process fracture; L1 lumbar spinous process fracture; post-traumatic urinary incontinence, bowel evacuation with enemas. Lower limb muscle strength grade 1, sensory dissociation, frequent acute pain on light touch. Both legs weak: in supine position can shift legs outward but cannot adduct; can lift 2-4 cm off the bed. Iliac reflex weak, anal reflex absent.

Treatment plan

2023-09-18 — mesenchymal stem cells 3U intravenous + 2U lumbar puncture, once monthly, 4 consecutive administrations = 1 cycle.
