Anamnesis

Wú**, boy, age 6 years 6 months. Non-verbal, developmental delay, partially understands speech. Hyperactive, interests confined to a single object. No bowel control, urination self-controlled. Neuron-specific enolase (NSE) elevated. At symptom onset: unprovoked crying, sudden night-time awakenings with ~2 hours of crying; sleep currently normal, but emotional swings appear on triggers. Treatment plan

Outcome

Currently attending regular public school, sits quietly through a full lesson without disrupting classroom discipline. Plays with younger brother — previously brother often took his belongings, now he actively defends his own items. High instruction compliance, understands family communication, maintains eye contact. Voluntarily shares snacks; no stereotyped behavior or hyperactivity. ABC autism behavior rating scale score decreased from 59 to 17 after treatment.
